〔Japanese History,This lecture will be discussed in Japanese.〕The purpose of this lecture is to consider the characteristics of the medieval Japanese society during the Kamakura period(The late 12th century〜The early 14th century). I will lecture the Kamakura bakufu regime, the medieval imperial court ,local society in the shoen(proprietary estates) system ,currency. Students will learn historical thinking from diverse viewpoints including politics, society, economy and culture. |
Expected Learning |
(1)To understand characteristics of the medieval Japanese state and society. (2)To learn historical thought from various viewpoints. (3)To understand that history is easily distorted by future generations. |
