For understanding the fundamental concept and theory of modern psychology, following themes will be lectured: 1) Subjects and methods in modern psychology Subjects and methods that modern psychology as behavioral science searches for “the psyche” via analyzing behaviors will be explained. 2) Perception and cognition Difference between sensation and perception, and organization of perception will be comprehended through over-viewing mainly the mechanisms of visual perception system. 3) Memory and learning Through over-viewing processes and mechanisms of learning and memory, fundamental concepts of learning and memory will be comprehended. 4) Emotion, affection and motivation Understanding fundamental concept of motivation, emotion and affection will make you possible to grasp our daily mental life. |

| Assessment/Grading |
| No. of attending the class must be 10 or more of total classes. Final grading will constitute of 30% for attending no. and 70% for reports evaluation. |
