Course description |
This course aims to develop students’ reading skills to read more advanced English texts on a variety of topics which are written in relatively complex English in terms of vocabulary, grammar and style. The G-TELP Test is given to all students during the course. |
Expected Learning |
Through reading texts written in relatively complex English, students should develop and strengthen: 1. Intensive reading skills to comprehend English texts accurately 2. Critical reading skills which help to improve their problem-solving ability 3. A variety of reading techniques such as skimming, scanning and paragraph-reading so that they can seek to answer their own questions |
