Course description |
Students will improve their spoken fluency and ability to communicate by participating in academic discussions and debates with their classmates. |
Expected Learning |
Students will learn the following: how to express and support logical opinions, how to use advanced communication skills common in academic discussions and debates, and how to listen actively to others. In addition, students will deepen their understanding of the topics covered in the course. |

There are no required textbooks for this course, but handouts will be provided in class. In order to collect and organize class handouts, students will be expected to bring their own A4 binder to every lesson. |

Attendance: 15% (students must attend at least 2/3 of a course in order to receive a credit for the course), 15%, Discussion Tests: 30% (each test = 10%), Regular Lesson Performance: 55% (each class = around 4.5%). |
