Course description

This lecture aims at developing students’ basic communication skills in Japanese through communication with international students and through writing training. To communicate with international students, we usually use a common language. In the lecture, the concept of ‘Japanese language as a common language’ will be introduced and discussed firstly. You will study what kind of Japanese expressions are easy/difficult for Japanese learners and how to use ‘easy’ Japanese. 1. Japanese as a common language 2. Japanese language in scientific field 3.
