Course description
Theory of chemical bonding is explained in terms of wavefunctions based on quantum chemistry. It is applied to from diatomic molecules to materials such as polymers, metals, and crystals.
Expected Learning
Purpose is to understand the difference between covalent bonds, ionic bonds, metallic bonds, van der Waals bonds and so on.
