Course description

The aim of this course is to acquire computational stills, such as Word Processor (MS Word), Spreadsheet program (MS Excel), and programming language (C), to develop ability for making documents and data analysis.

Week 1: How to Log in, log out, browse WEB pages, and send email Week 2: Basic usage of word processor (MS Word)): Input of document, save and print files Week 3: Practice for making document for scientific report. Week 4: Basic usage of spreadsheet program (MS Excel): data analysis and making graphs Week 5: C language: "Hello world!" program and standard input output Week 6: C language: Conditional execution (if- statement) Week 7: C language: Iteration (for-statement) Week 8: C language: Iteration (do-while statement) Week 9: C language: Random numbers Week 10: C language: Array I Week 11: C language: Array II, character string and pointer Week 12: C language: File input and output Week 13: C language: Computer simulation of mechanical system Week 14: C language: Collaboration with spreadsheet program (Graphics) Week 15: C language: Final examination
