Course description
In every class time, basically, a 90-min lecture and a 90-min exercise are given, and also a homework is given.The students shold submit the answers to the questions of the homework as a report at the beginning of the lecture.
Expected Learning
1) Ability of calculations of voltages and currents for direct-current circuits.
2) Understanding of the concept of alternating-current circuits and the effective values.
3) Understanding of the complex-number and phasor representations
Ability of explanation of impedance and admittance

3) superposition principle, Thevenin's theorem
4) passive elements, electric power and energy
5) intermediate exam, trigonometric function
6) passive elements and their alternating-current characteristics, alternating-current power, effective value
7) LCR circuits
8) sinusoidal wave and complex-number representation
9) phsor representation
10) intermediate exam, phsor representations for voltage and current
