Course description
Knowledge on electronic circuits and logic circuits are parts of foundation for building modern information engineering.
Most parts of the state-of-the-art hardware are merged as LSIs. LSI consists of same parts you will use in this course.
We aim to acquire fundamental skills and knowledge on electronic circuits, and logic circuits through experiment.

Expected Learning
Course schedule
Each topic is as follows.
1. Introduction (How to conduct experiment, grading, and how to use equipment)
2. Resistor and capacitor (delay circuit, transient state, steady state)
3. Semiconductors (diodes, transistors, operating point, the saturation region)
4. Logic circuit 1 (AND, OR, NOT circuit)
5. Logic circuit 2 (application, Karnaugh map) or (sequential circuit)
Prerequisites
You should complete courses "Electrical and electronic circuit" and "Logic circuit".
Required Text(s) and Materials
Texts for experiment would be provided in each class

Assessment/Grading
The teachers evaluate your grade using your achievement level and quality of your reports.
You should submit each report within one week after each experiment.
If your report is judged as require to be re-submitted, you are supposed to re-submit within one week after the posted date on that.
