Course description
For understanding life phenomena,We need to understand individual units like gene, protein, cell, organ and body.
The aim of this course is to understand biology of the human body as cell, internal organ and body the following disease progression and health.
The students will learn about the human whole body system related with each organ functions and key factors.

1. Internal secretion: definition of hormone, structure and function of hormone produced by the hypothalamus and pituitary gland.
2. Internal secretion: thyroid hormone
3. Internal secretion: calcium metabolism regulation in hormone and bone
4. Internal secretion: adrenal cortical hormone, adrenal medullary hormone
5. Internal secretion: insulin, glucagon
6. Internal secretion: blood sugar control, diabetes
7. Midterm Examination
8. Internal secretion: male reproductive organ and androgen
9. Internal secretion: female reproductive organ and estrogen
10. Cancer
11. Digestive system
12. Sense organ (eyes and photoreception)
13. Sense organ (ears, nose and tongue)
