Course description
According to progress of biotechnology, the developments of medical drugs, diagnostic drugs and foods and food additives have dramatically improved. In this lecture, the frontier researches are presented based on concrete development examples and future researches are penetrated.

1st: Medical drugs (1) : Guidance. Definition and classification of medical drugs.
2nd: Medical drugs (2) : Relationship between medical drugs and diseases. Introduction of pharmacology, medical drugs and drug therapy.
3rd: Medical drugs (3) : Development and production of medical drugs. The process to establish new drugs from huge number of compounds.
4th: Medical drugs (4) : Practical sides of development of medical drugs.
5th: Diagnostic drugs (1) and 6th Diagnostic drugs (2): Biocemical, immunological, genetic diagnostic drugs.
7th: Diagnostic drugs (3) and 8th Diagnostic drugs (4): Diagnostic for diabetes.
9th: Development of novel foods and process inculding packages.
10th: Development of foods for specified health uses.
11th: Development of food additives.
12th: Development of genetically modified (GM) foods.
13th: Preparation of reports.
