Course description
This lecture aims to deepen understanding of the environmental issues and its corresponding plan. The environmental aspects of energy technology should be explained.
Expected Learning
Understanding the environmental problem and energy system.
The impact on the environment of energy use can be described by taking an example.
The key point on evaluation of energy system can be described by taking an example.
Course schedule
The first half:
1.History of the energy system
2.Function of the primary energy
3.Relations of population growth and energy consumption
4.Biomass energy and food
5.Renewable energy and electricity network
6.Experimental researches of energy system
7.Report

The second half:
Environmental aspects of energy use are described especially on the global environment.
Life cycle assessment (LCA) is explained briefly.
The application of LCA of energy technologies is explained.
