Course description |
This course explores how the languages reflect the societies they are used in. By examining the language use in specific social contexts, the students observe and analyze its intentions and the social significance. |
Expected Learning |
The participants are expected to find the pragmatic similarities and differences between Japanese language and their native languages and develop the new perspective for understanding our global society. |
