Course description
Basic purpose of molecular biology is intended to understand life phenomena at molecular level. In this lecture, I will explain the diversity, genetics, and application of filamentous. Furthermore, the characterization and application attempt of unique cell surface protein hydrophobin from Aspergillus oryzae.
Expected Learning
Learners who complete this lecture will be able to:
(1) Describe the diversity, life cycle and molecular genetics of filamentous fungi.
(2) Recognize the genetic engineering of filamentous fungi, especially in A. oryze.
(3) Describe the industrial application and new technology of filamentous fungi.
