Course description
This course provided students with the basic information on the role of National parks on conservation of wildlife through the comparison between Yellowstone National Park, which was the first National park in the world and Shiretoko National Park, designated as World Natural Heritage Site in 2005.
Expected Learning
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:
Recognizing relationship between national heritage site and biodiversity, and problems between utilization and conservation in National parks
Recognizing the role of science on wildlife policy
