Course description

This 1-credit course provides students with a way of thinking and technique for utilization of material and energy resources from forests and sustainable utilization of forests as environment. This course is designed for students who did not learned forestry.

Expected Learning

Describe typical operational systems of timber production. Describe the definition of productivity and calculate it. Describe regulations for labor safety. Describe special features of forest machinery and their safety equipment.

Prerequisites

This class is designed for students who did not learned forestry. The students who studied Forest Production System at under graduate should not attend.
