Course description |
Dr. Hirano This class provides students with the basis of “Chemical Biology”, which is a recent developed research area for elucidation of physiological function by utilizing chemical methods. In this area, various functional molecules have been developed and applied not only in cell biology but also for therapeutic purpose. |
Expected Learning |
Dr. Hirano The students are requested to understand the strategy of chemical biology by studying several examples of recent researches of this area. Dr. Maki Understanding various phenomena on polymer solutions and gels on the basis of thermodynamics and transport phenomena |
