Course description |
The students report the progress situation of the ongoing studies in the master program and the knowledge obtained from the studies, and discuss about it with the supervisors and the lab members. Through this activity, they set their research themes and survey the research fields for the master theses. They should acquire the research methodology including academic writing and presentation to promote their research.

Course schedule |
This course is carried out in each laboratory. In the meetings or the seminars that are held periodically in each laboratory, the students are requested to clarify the directions of their ongoing research and discuss about it by showing the experimental results to reconfirm the significance of the research. If a certain problem is found, it must be modified by discussion and prepare the public presentation.

Assessment/Grading |
Of course, it is necessary for the students to attend the seminars held in their laboratories every week. Assessment is based on their attitudes (preparation of documents, presentation, and discussion) as well as the mid-program presentation at the end of the first grade of the master program.
