Course description
To cultivate global-minded leaders with abilities to understand and communicate with people from cultures and backgrounds different from their own and to form and work in diverse teams in the global world.

To study and discuss foreign cultures (history, ethics, religions, life-styles, etc.) and to gain abilities of communication, self-expression, persuasiveness, negotiation skills.

To learn deeper about Japanese culture to be able to tell foreigners about Japan.

Also to improve human skills and communications skills by using methods used in many local and global companies for teach and coach management level employees.
Expected Learning
To understand ethics, history and society of foreign cultures and differences between Japan.
To be able to express one’s opinions and to work in diverse teams.
To be able to communicate with understanding and respect towards people having values and customs different from one’s own.

6 (May 26th, 4th) Communication Skills: EQ / external lecturer
7-8 (June 2nd, 3rd-4th) "What is Global?" / a joint class with students from the International Center

Recommended also to take lectures of "Cross-Cultural Comparison Studies and Self-Expression Skills II", "III" and "IV"
