Course description
“Insects and Insect Viruses: Biotechnological Applications”
Characterization of insect viruses. Properties and application of insect viruses. Production of recombinant proteins by using insect virus vector. Recent researches for insect RNA virus discovered from insect-derived cultured cell line.
Expected Learning
Understanding of the basic knowledge about methods and applications of Baculovirus expression vector system. Understanding of the mechanism of the insect Maculavirus persistent infection.
