Course description |
We will discuss contributions of the universities, research/extension institutions, agricultural cooperatives, agroindustries, NGOs, etc., through their interactions, for sustainable agricultural production increase and appropriate distribution in our era of globalization, with focus on the case studies of the university initiatives worldwide (including those of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology).

Participants may understand potentials in the integration of education, research and extension (social contribution), the three missions of the university corporation, for the improved output of each mission.

Course schedule |
Course will be given from 10:00-17:00 on October 13th (Friday), 2017, at the 2nd Conference Room of the United Graduate School Administrative Building on Fuchu Campus, Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. We will have lecture, discussion and report writing.
