Course description |
In this course, students learn negotiation skill and debate ability which are inevitable for valuable communication with others. As the topics to be discussed or debated, the related issues to "Green Clean Food Production", "Food, the Environment, and Energy", or corporations' activities will be selected. Understanding of these issues may contribute for the students' future work and research. "Career Progress Program I" is for PreD (M1) students and "III" is for D0(M2) students, and the lectures will be jointly carried out. The course will be instructed by Kudoh and Ichijo. |
Expected Learning |
●Practically learn the basics of debate and negotiation skills. ●Understand the nature of issues in societies and the meanings and roles of corporations as one of stakeholders. |
Course schedule |
[Renewed on Oct 17] ●The lecture will be basically held on 4th period (14:45-16:15) of Wednesday, but the detailed schedule will be discussed with students. ●It will be alternately held in Koganei or Fuchu campus. ●The course schedule is as follows: Lec 1&2 Course orientation & Basics of debate Lec 3 Debate exercise Lec 4 Debate match Lec 5&6 Negotiation Lec 7&8 Corporation activities and society (The topics will be decided based on the students' interests). |
