Course description
This course covers both general and molecular microbiology. Methods in both conventional and modern microbiology will be introduced. Plant-associating microorganisms will be introduced with a special emphasis on rhizobia, AM fungi, endophytes and plant pathogens. Application of beneficial microbes in agriculture will also be discussed.
Expected Learning
Obtain basic knowledge of plant-associating microorganisms and their application.
