Course description
The Faculty of Agriculture Field Science Center (FS Center) has five areas of education and research: resource and material recycling; natural environment; wild animal conservation; agriculture and forestry in semi-mountainous areas; and urban agriculture. The Center utilizes virgin forest, secondary forest, farmland, urban green zones and a variety of other fields located within a 100-km area of the Tokyo Metropolis as its Field Museum (FM). Field surveys are conducted for about a week at FMs in order to understand desirable man-nature relationship.
Expected Learning
Criterion for achievment: Obtain the basic skills for making academic reports, by understanding the broad range of practices related to field science. All participants need to attend all lectures of each course.
Course schedule
Instructors explain the course schedule at "Guidance of Practical Training on Field Science" held on 12 April (12:15-12:45). You select and learn one course below.

Forest course:
Practices will open from 9 to 14 Sep. at Kusaki Field Meuseum(FM KUSAKI).
Students should gather till 8 am on 9 Sep. in front of Main building of Fuchu campas.

Satoyama courece:
Practices will open from 3 to 7 Sep. at FM TAMA
Students must arrived at FM TAMA till 9 am. You also learn at FM TSUKUI on 7 Sep.

Farmland cource:
Practices will open from 8 to 10 June at FM TSUKUI and 2 to 3 Aug. at FM FUCHU.
Studends should gather at 5 pm on 8 June at FS Center building.
