Course description
In agriculture it is necessary to protect plants from pathogenic microorganisms, insects, weeds, weather disasters, harmful substances. For this purpose, the management techniques for them with not only secure human but impair biological diversity and ecosystem have to be established. In this lecture, basic concepts of plant protection, plant pathogenic microorganisms, pests, weeds, drugs and microorganisms used in control, new technologies used in the management of pathogenic microorganisms, insects, and weeds, will be outlined.
Expected Learning
Understand basic concepts of plant protection, plant pathogenic microorganisms, pests, weeds, drugs and microorganisms used in control, new technologies used in the management of pathogenic microorganisms, insects, and weeds will be evaluated by a report.

Assessment/Grading
We will evaluate the report with the index of -2 to +1 (standard = 0). The sum of the number of times absent and the index of report, +1: S, 0 ~ -1: A, -2 ~ -3: B, -4: C , -5 or less comprehensively evaluating and D will be given.
