Course description
To deal with the issues such as sustainable use of biological resources and environmental pollution, you need the fundamental knowledge of ecology. This course consists of six categories (1. The concept of ecology, 2. Behavioral ecology, 3. Population ecology, 4. Community ecology, 5. Ecosystem ecology and 6. Conservation ecology). You can learn the ecological view and basic ecological theories from these categories.
Expected Learning
You will master the fundamental concepts and principles of ecology, and improve your ecological literacy.

Examination
Prerequisites
This class (Ecology: A class) is for the students who belong to department of Biological Production and a part of department of Environmental and Natural Resources Science. Other students should take other class (Ecology: B or C class). Students entering this course are assumed to have had TAT1 Biology.

Students who attend less than 80% of this course can not get this credit.
Learners need to get more than 60% of the score to pass the final examination.
