| Course description |
| We are due to read and understand a foreign book on “wood chemistry” written in English language, and will try not to simply replace English sentences with Japanese sentences but to grasp what the authors meant as accurately as possible. |
| Expected Learning |
| We are aiming at obtaining basic knowledge on the wood chemistry and having an experience in translation of scientific sentences written in English language. |

We are due to read several chapters of a book on “Wood Chemistry” written in English language. 1st. Orientation and preparation 2nd-9th. Reading and the discussion on the content 10th. Presentation of what the participants have translated by themselves. |
