Course description |
Aim: The final goal of this course is to think and discuss sustainability of tourism with understanding history of tourism in Japan from the Edo era ( the 17th century- ) to the present. Summary: The course provides: 1) Theoretical characteristics of tourism; 2) history of tourism in Japan; 3) Comparison of mass tourism and alternative tourism (Green Tourism and Ecotourism). |
