Course description
Practice numerical topography surveying by using Total Station in campus. three-dimensional coordinates are are calculated from field measuremnt data, read into GIS software, graphic work of the terrain / feature, and attribute information are input to create the GIS data.
Expected Learning
To understand the importance of reference points in GIS data creation
Coordinate calculation can be performed by using observation data on site and reference point coordinates
To understand the importance of the map coordinate system (geodetic reference system ・ map projection method) in inputting GIS data
To understand the structure of GIS data
Course schedule
1)Measurements of horizontal angles and distances using total station as group works in the field
