Course description
This course is going to mainly talk about two issues. The first one is how environmental sociology approaches to the life of regional community as well as environmental issues to which it has been paying attention. The second one is what kind of achievements have environmental sociology made on it.
Expected Learning
Students are supposed to acquire the basic knowledge and thinking of environmental sociology, as well as master the researching and analyzing methods when they are actually to be in a field through studying specific cases of environmental problems and environmental use. Meanwhile, students are also expected to understand the difference between “the perspective of insect” and “the perspective of bird” on the level of epistemology.

To assess from three parts as below. 1. The result of term-end test based on lectures【50 points】2. Group presentation & Discussion【25 points】3. Response paper etc.【25 points】. The result of last year (2017) was distributed as S(18%), A(11%), B(21%), C(39%), D(7%), E(4%).
