Course description |
Aim: The aim of this course is to understand Japanese forest policy generally and get a basic knowledge to discuss future directions for sustainable forest management in Japan. Summary: The course provides: 1) history of the forest policy in Japan from the Meiji era to the present; 2) structure and process of formation and implementation of the forest policy in Japan; and 3) discussion on the current topics of the forest policy in Japan. |
