| Course description |
| Laboratory animals are 1 of the 4 types of animals (companion animals, farm animals, laboratory animals, and wild animals) that veterinarians should handle. Laboratory animals help us every day to enjoy rich lives and remain healthy. Veterinaries must know how to correctly handle those animals in order to provide reliable data. This practical training will teach students techniques to handle, keep and manage, and monitor laboratory animals. |

| Laboratory animals provide the basis for development and research of goods such as pharmaceuticals and cosmetics that allow us to lead the lives we do. Having accurate knowledge and an ethical perspective as a veterinarian are necessary in terms of animal welfare and veterinary handling in order to conduct R & D involving laboratory animals. This course seeks to train personnel to take the lead in R & D involving laboratory animals. |
