This class is the intensive lecture that professor except TAU will teacher is in charge of. If the number of which students take this lesson is over 30, one more intensive lecture will be opened in the other schedule. (The detail announcement will be shown after decision of a lecture opening). |

The aim that a student should achieve Students understand a method of basic experiment, observation about geology and astronomy and meteorology and can conduct a simple investigation and come to be able to distinguish the phenomenon of the earth science. |

An intensive lecture: A lecturer at schedule 8/10, 16, 17 charge: Dr. Sakakibara [Pease gather in classroom (scientific experiment building, physics laboratory) at 9:00 on the first day.] ① 8/10 9:15-19:45 (6 lessons) ② 8/16 8:45-18:00 (5 lessons) ③ 8/17 8:45-16:15 (4 lessons) 1) Observation of the sunspot with the astronomical telescope 2) Constellation observation society using a star chart board and smartphone astronomy application 3) Mineral observation of the mineral prepared slide using volcanic ashes 4) Production of radiation shield and Method of the air temperature observation byusing the simple thermometer 5) Let’s observe the vertical profile of air temperature in a building No. 13 in TAU campus. 6) Let’s observe air temperature distribution in and around the campus to find out the coolest site. 7) Observation of the wind above the ground by using the pilot balloon 8) The observation of the cloud and production of the cloud model 9) Let’s draw weather chart by the hearing of the radio report |

This class is the intensive lecture that professor except TAU will teacher is in charge of. If the number of which students take this lesson is over 30, one more intensive lecture will be opened in the other schedule. (The detail announcement will be shown after decision of a lecture opening). Because this lesson is TAT II subject, this lesson is opened for the student of all courses of the department of engineering, but students cannot take this lesson unless "earth science" lesson of 2 units have been acquired in last year. [ This class is required for the students who are going to acquire a teacher’s license of the junior high school,] Graduate students and undergraduate agriculture students are not permitted to taking this lecture when the number of students has reached the limit. Graduate students who have taken a teacher-training course are permitted to take as an exception. |

| Students are evaluated the contents of the report from degree of the understanding, the action to an experiment, summary, and scholastic evaluation is performed at those synthesis point. The standard mark is more than 60%. |
