Course description
This course introduces Fourier series and Fourier transforms for solving the heat equation that describes the distribution of heat. These tools are applied widely in various fields of engineering.
Expected Learning
The goals of this course are to
1. be able to compute Fourier series and transforms of elementary functions and
2. understand a method of solving certain partial differential equations by these tools.
