Course description |
This course introduces Fourier series and Fourier transforms for solving the heat equation that describes the distribution of heat. These tools are applied widely in various fields of engineering. |
Expected Learning |
The goals of this course are to 1. be able to compute Fourier series and transforms of elementary functions and 2. understand a method of solving certain partial differential equations by these tools. |
