| Because of frequent occurrence of serious accidents in our daily life and dishonest acts in research activities due to lack of the ethic awareness, the education of engineering ethics becomes more and more important these years. Moreover, in order to correspond to the problems like global warming and aging society, the ethics awareness of university students of science and technology should be improved. In this lecture, the relationship between the technology and our society, the technicians' responsibilities to the society, actions that we should take, and important factors in engineering ethics will be explained and discussed. |
