Course description
Basic Study of Quantum Mechanics. Starting from Planck's blackbody radiation theory, following classical quantum theory and basic quantum mechanics based on Schrodinger equation will be taught.
Expected Learning
1. Understanding both wave nature and particle nature of both electron and photon.
2. Understanding the concept of wave function and Schrodinger equation, and Solving it under elementary conditions.
3. Understanding the relationship between physical quantities and operators.

1. Introduction and brush up on wave equation
2. Wave and paticle natures of photon
3. Structure of an atom: nuculear and electron
4. Wave nature of an electron and Bohr's model of a hydrogen atom
5. Schrodinger equation
6. Physical meaning and interpretation of Schrodinger equation
