Course description |
The students are expected to be able to understand and estimate the energy consumption reduction by following 2 contents. 1) Calculation method of carbon dioxide emissions from fuel combustion, 2) Technology development of energy conversion. |

1 : introduction, characteristics of fuel, actual system introduction using slides 2-5 : CO2 emissions calculations by combustion 6 : mid-term exam (combustion calculation) 8 : explanation of the exam and summary of the first half 9-10 : concept of exergy and entropy change and their examples 11-13 : highly efficient energy conversion systems, minimization of exergy loss 14 : report explanation, summary of the second half 15 : summary 1-6,8,15 : Oda 7,9-14 : Aziz |
