Week4-5:Zinc Finger Nuclease 1-2, we introduce Zinc-Finger Nuclease (ZFN), which is an advanced technology for targeted manipulation of the cellular genome. Week6-7:Cell Engineering 1-2, lectures about research and development of the basic materials related to tissue engineering (or regenerative medicine),the measuring method of cell proliferation and activity are given. Description of the fundamental knowledge and the ethical viewpoint related to an embryonic stem cell and the cloned animals is also given. Week8-9:Motor Protein 1-2, this section will introduce the function of motor proteins and its application, especially focusing on myosin-actin system. Week10-11:Biosensing Technology 1-2, these lectures are focused on applications of nanomaterials and nanofabrications for target detections in single cell level. Week12-15:The lectures will be focused on nanobiotechnology. Development of biosensor or regearative medicine using nanoneedle will be introduced, aiming to make deep undestandings of the trends in biotechnology. The subject of report will be presented in the lecture week12. |
