Course description
This lecture outlines biological functions from the viewpoints of molecular biology and biotechnology. Case studies will be provided to explore, develop, and improve new biological functions for biological production, resource management, and environmental conservation.
Expected Learning
As a result of successfully completing this course, you will be able to:

(i)Explain basic knowledge about molecular biology and biotechnology.
(ii)Provide basic information about (micro)biological functions.
(iii)Review basic procedures to utilize (micro)biological functions for agriculture and environmental conservation.
(iv)Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of various biotechnology.
