Course description
Transboundary air pollution influences the ecosystem through the atmospheric deposition process.
This lecture provides students with the specialized knowledge on deposition and exchange processes of air pollutants between land and atmosphere.
In addition, we will investigate relevant international initiatives in each region such as Asia, Europe, and North America, consider global strategy of air pollution control.
Expected Learning
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to:
- explain air-surface exchange of gas and aerosols.
- explain how to asess the atmospheric deposition.
- express an opinion on the international cooperation on air pollution control.
