Acquire knowledge on merits and difficulties in implementing theories of landscape ecology, and utilize them in his/her research for the master thesis

Ecological phenomena needs to be captured at large spatial scales (e.g. watershed or landscape scales) for effective and efficient biodiversity conservation and natural resource management. Students are expected to self-learn on topics before class and join in discussion during class.
