Course description |
The aim of this lecture is to obtain knowledge which can be used as the guide for stereoselective reactions. It is possible to cover a wide range of organic chemistry by learning other related lectures in this department. |

Course schedule |
This lecture covers important issues contained in the field of organic chemistry, and the basic concept as well as application are described with reference to historically important and recently reported articles. The main subjects are as follows. 1) Fluorine Chemistry 2) Curtin-Hammett rule 3) Felkin-Anh model 4) Stereoselective alkylation 5) Stereoselective crossed aldol reactions 6) Claisen rearrangement 7) Michael addition 8) Diels-Alder reactions 9) Epoxydation reactions |
Prerequisites |
Students are required to have already studied some organic chemistry lectures during undergraduate courses. |

Assessment/Grading |
Evaluation is systematically carried out by the points from two examinations (40% each) and the ones at attendance (20%). |
