Course description |
This course will address about some applications of tissue optics to the non-destractive measurements and non-invasive spectral imaging of in vivo biological tissues. It also provides students with the cutting-edges of biomedical optics and photonics. |
Expected Learning |
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to understand the fundamentals and applications of measuring techniques, analyses, and evaluations of light-tissue interactions as well as the applications of spectroscopy to the optical measurements and imaging of in vivo biological tissues. |
Course schedule |
1. Light sources, optical components, and detectors 2. Light transport in biological tissues 3. Optical biopsy with spectroscopy and analysis for bio-chemical 4. Functional imaging I 5. Functional imaging II 6. High-resolution imaging 7. Optical treatment 8. Summary |
