Course description |
This course provides students with the fundamentals of electric power systems. It will address the components of the electric power systems, such as thermal power plants, nuclear power plants, renewable energy, grid network, and energy management systems. Students also learn the issues in the future power system and its solutions. The methods of the system analysis will be learned in this class. Do the exercises of mathematical programming and energy system modeling with C++ language and some solvers. |
Expected Learning |
Learners who successfully complete this course will be able to: - understand the present power systems and the issues in the future power system - discuss the solution of the issues in power systems. - learn the methods of system analysis. |
