| Course description |
| As the students start their five-year postgraduate program, this course will help them develop diverse future careers through presentation skills training, listening to talks by Ph.D. professionals working in various fields, and visits to industries. |

| Students will be able to envision diverse career options and draw out their original plans for research and other learning to be conducted in the five-year program. |

Intensive lectures; includes off-campus activities as well. Class 1-5: Presentation skills Class 6-8: Lectures and discussions with Ph.D.’s working in industries, public affairs, and research institutes (tentatively planned on a Saturday in June) Class 9: Preparatory research on corporate visits Class 10-12: Corporate visit (Engineering field) Class 13-15: Corporate visit (Agriculture field) *This class is taught in coordination with Career Development Program I. Detailed contents and schedule will be announced in the first class of Career Development Program I on April 16th, 4-5th period. |

| Students in the Department of Food and Energy Systems Science must take this course during their first semester (M1). |
