Course description |
The purpose of this course is to develop students' ability of reading and presentation skills for research activities. Students are expected to learn text structures, grammatical structures and expressions in academic Japanese, and to learn how to manage their presentation on scientific topics. |

Reading activities ・Reading materials which deal with academic matters ・Reading articles of newspaper ・Learning paragraph types, grammatical structures and expressions used in academic Japanese ・Writing an essay with a model structure used in reading materials 2. Presentation activities on scientific topics ・Learning basic expressions and structures for academic presentations ・Making slides and a script for the presentation ・Oral practice to speak effectively ・Giving a short presentation 3.
