Course description
This course explores how the languages reflect the societies they are used in. By examining the language used in specific social contexts, the students observe and analyze its intentions and the social significance. The course includes group work and activities to share their thoughts and experiences.
Expected Learning
1.To acquire the pragmatic similarities and differences between Japanese language and their native languages
2. To develop the new perspective for understanding our global society
