Course description
Agricultural structures such as greenhouse, plant nursery, grain store, etc. are needed for stable productions in various climate conditions. Environmental control technologies, measuring instruments, machines, information technologies applied to horticultural structures are explained with progressive case studies.
This subject is a specialized subject common to undergraduate courses and is offered as an elective subject in the International Agriculture Program.
Expected Learning
Credited auditors understand the technology related to agricultural facilities and plant factories, and can design environmentally controlled production systems.

(*) Marked contents will be given in a study excursion.
Prerequisites
In this course, 45 hours of study is a standard course for one credit course. Assuming that one piece (90 minutes) is learning for two hours, eight classes are converted as learning for 16 hours. About 30 hours of preparation and review are required to meet standard study time.
