Course description
Based on biological experiment, chemical experiment, and basics of biological production experiment, further technical analysis and observation on the technical fields of production environment science, plant production science and animal / insect production science will be performed.
Expected Learning
Understand knowledge on advanced biological production, such as molecular biology, based on experiment.

8. Cultivation of soil microorganisms
9. Observation of soil microorganisms
10. Glycochemistry of mucopolysaccharide
11. Immunochemistry of mucin-related protein
12. Introduction of the gene into E. coli cells by heat shock method
13. PCR amplification of the transgene and introduction of the gene into plant cells using Agrobacterium
14. Electrophoresis of PCR amplification products and detection of transformed callus by GUS assay

Prerequisites
In addition to 75 hours that students spend in the class, students are recommended to prepare for and revise the lectures, spending the standard amount of time as specified by the University and using the lecture handouts as well as the references specified below.

Learning attitude, papers, and exams will be scored by the teacher for each experiment, and it will be totaled and evaluated. If the number of attendances does not reach 80% of the total number of experiments, the evaluation will be D.
