Course description
In the lecture of horticulture science II, the physiological and ecological characteristics of horticultural crops (vegetables, fruit trees and flowers) throughout the process from seeding to flowering, fruit setting and seed formation will be described. Afterwards, the cultivation systems of main horticultural crops will be discussed. In addition, post-harvest technology, forcing culture in the green house and plant factory will be explained.
Expected Learning

2.To understand the origin and morphology of horticultural crops
3.To understand the physiology and ecology of horticultural crops.
4.To understand the cultivation methods of horticultural crops.
5.To understand the environmental controls in the greenhouse.

7.Physiological and ecological characteristics of floricultural crops.
8.Cultivation methods of annual, biennial, perennial, bulb and orchids.
